How mobile-friendly is your website?

16 maart 2019 | by Martijn Visser

On 21 April, Google will roll out its much-discussed update. If your site is not"mobile-friendly" by then, you are guaranteed to drop precious places in search results, because Google will give priority to websites that do have mobile accessibility in order. So webmaster and site owners take note!

Do the mobile-friendliness test yourself

Google has posted a test online that allows you to easily check whether your website is suitable for mobile devices or not. Taking the test will immediately show whether you meet Google's requirements for your website after 21 April. These requirements include readability, spacing between links and the so-called "viewport", the way dimensions and scalability are communicated to the browser.mobielvriendelijk

Not mobile-friendly?

Websites that are a few years old are probably not as mobile-friendly as the norm nowadays. If the website is not mobile-friendly according to Google's standards, its position in search engines and therefore its visitor numbers will decrease!
So poor mobile-friendliness always means a negative impact on your SEO!
